The Bordereau de Suivi des Cargaisons (BESC), also known as the Container Tracking Note (CTN), or also WAIVER is a mandatory document for all maritime shipments to Senegal since March 1, 2019. This document is issued by the Conseil Sénégalais des Chargeurs (COSEC) and allows tracking of shipments to Senegal.

To obtain a BESC, shippers must submit an online application via the COSEC website, provide the necessary documents (such as the bill of lading, commercial invoice, and packing list), and pay the associated fees. Once the BESC is issued, it must be mentioned on the bill of lading and the cargo manifest.
